Service: A common denominator

A service-minded institution can look like many things.

Service can be reflected in a mission statement or capitalized by service-oriented curriculum. It can be the job of a single campus department, or better yet, it can be woven into the fabric of the entire institution.

What does a mission of service look like for Mount Mercy? It’s a definition that is more lifestyle than textbook. With a wide-array of people, talents, passions and personal missions, the Mount Mercy community daily weaves a canvas of service and outreach.

From orphanages in Africa to birth clinics in the Philippines, the Mount Mercy family continues to share the joys of service with people all over the world and in our own backyard.

And the results are amazing.
