Homecoming on the Hill: Alumni, Family and Friends Weekend

Homecoming 2010, October 2–3, offered alumni a special opportunity to reconnect with former classmates and share Mount Mercy with their family and friends. Classes celebrating a milestone reunion in 2010 included 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2005.

Members of these classes were honored throughout the weekend, along with Golden Graduates (alumni who graduated prior to 1960) at events such as the Welcome Reception at the Presidential Home and the Recognition Luncheon. From the Mercy Medical Center breakfast and tour, to cookies with the Sisters of Mercy, to live music and a European wine tasting, there was something for everyone. There’s even more in store for Homecoming 2011, September 30 to October 1, 2011. If you would like to help organize a special gathering for your classmates, please contact the Alumni Office at 319-368-6468 or alumni@mtmercy.edu.
